The album art and music concept for this album is the systole and diastole. Now, I first encountered those terms via Deleuze in his book on Francis Bacon (highly recommended) rather than their medical association in terms of human biology. The two tracks of the album are mirror images of one another - but deliberately asymmetric in their composition and length - but only slightly. The first is the reverse of the second, and vice versa. Curious?
